to inhabit a space, means following its patterns. to repeat them, to repeat them, to repeat them. plants without soil, residues of forgotten memories. plastic forks in the dust of concrete. stones in the walls of our neighbours.
klatt+++ count the ticks in the entrance hall in order to accelerate the eroding processes. Video, photography and performance is their way to inhabit space.

Autovideato - diy: video art and poetics of the body
Ever stood in a shop window as a potted plant while recording your leaves? We explore possible narratives of our bodies through the lens of smartphones, following the idea of "autovideato" by Mexican video artist Pola Weiss.
Videos are part of our everyday life, as we constantly record ourselves and our friends, play them back and edit the material. In this context, how can we define video art and what enables us to find other forms of (auto-)representation? In addition to discussing examples from the video art landscape together, and providing theoretical tools, we tried out audiovisual and performative experiments with our smartphones.
We wanted to open up new creative spaces by developing mini-formats. No previous knowledge was necessary.
Participants were asked to bring cellphones with an editig app.
