After the fall of Soviet Union in 1991 the world has changed so dramatically, that we tend to forget what it was all about. From a millennial perspective, some of those things are hilarious, some are weird and some are just nonsensical.
Irina Vale took then popular newspaper "Ogoniok" and reworked its imagery mixing it with cutouts from contemporary magazines. The result is worth admiring.
There's more than that!
